Bauer and Murphy on Mt. Osceola, NH

DREW TWITCHELL

Builder. Hockey player. Dog dad.
New Hampshire, via Vermont.

Bauer & Murphy · Mt. Osceola, NH

I run a tech studio, co-own a hockey gear company, work in cloud security at Wiz, and coach sales leadership at Harvard Business School.

I play hockey a few times a week, like getting outside when I can, and always have some project going on.

The Journey

Born & Raised

Vermont.

Hartford, VT. Most people know Vermont for cows, Ben & Jerry's, and maple syrup. I'll give them that. Grew up outside, learned to build things because nobody else was going to do it for you.

Class of '14

St. Lawrence.

Upstate New York. Double-majored in Geology and Computer Science. Go Saints. A lot of hockey, a lot of snow, and the realization that I liked building things more than studying rocks. Jenna went to SLU too, though we didn't actually know each other until later.

2014 – 2024

A decade in Boston.

Lived in South Boston, which was a blast. Spent the whole decade in cybersecurity: Black Duck, Synopsys, Panaseer, Rezilion, Dazz, Wiz. Four acquisitions. Started two companies along the way.

Now

New Hampshire.

Lakes Region meets the White Mountains. Zero sales tax. A solid runner-up to Vermont. Home is my wife Jenna, a brother-sister golden retriever duo from the same litter named Bauer and Murphy (both turning 6 this year), and Rey the cat (turning 2). Yes, Bauer is named after the hockey brand. Of course he is.

Rey.

Murphy and Bauer outweigh her 10 to 1. Doesn't matter. Not even a little.

She runs the place.

Rey

The queen herself.

On the ice

Along with the other co-owners, we brought Marvic Hockey to North America. I run the tech and ops side. Starting with ultralight carbon sticks, building out a full gear line.
